KSA begins looking for partners ahead of Dutch KOA's summer launch

Kansspelautoriteit ( KSA) The Netherlands Gambling Regulatory Authority has authorized a "new round of action" against websites promoting unlicensed operators believed to target Dutch consumers.
Tighter monitoring of partner websites will be carried out by KSA as the regulator intends to officially launch a regulated online gambling market in the Netherlands on October 1, in accordance with the mandate approved by the Camera. ' Remote Gambling Law '(KOA Law).
The last KSA enforcement against affiliates occurred during 2019, with the result that it was targeted directly against out of 44 websites reviewed, each assigned hours to stop all Dutch marketing activities.
To date, KSA's monitoring of branch activities has shown that a number of foreign operators have been fined three-digit fines in euros for promoting their brands on illegal Dutch-language websites.
In its latest marketing announcement, KSA said it will pursue a zero-tolerance policy towards unlicensed operators or affiliates promoting any kind of corona-related marketing - imposing immediate fines of € 100.03 for discrepancy.
In April of this year, KSA began processing its KOA mode licensing process after discovering that it had received individual operator applications, with the regulator awaiting licenses for approval in the first licensing window.
